Guidelines

Guidelines for Oral Presentations: –

The presenting authors of the abstracts selected for ORAL presentation will present their papers in the designated Oral Presentation sessions. The sessions will be divided on the basis of topics and will be moderated by Chairpersons / Judges. A question and answer session will follow each presentation.

Structure of abstracts:

  • For original research/ reviews
  • Introduction
  • Aim & Objectives
  • Materials & Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion

We strongly recommend that the delegates adhere to the following guidelines while making their presentations.

  • Only registered delegate are allowed to submit the abstract for paper.
  • Time Limit: All the delegates will be given exactly 6 minutes for Presentation followed by 2 minutes of Q & A session.
  • All abstracts are to be submitted in English.
  • Only one presentation as presenting author will be allowed.
  • Please do not submit an abstract under more than 1 category.
  • Timing will be strictly enforced and no extension of time will be allowed.
  • The presentation must be handed over in MICROSOFT POWER POINT to preview room at least 2 hours before the particular session.
  • Use of personal laptops and memory devices will strictly not be allowed for loading presentations directly at the venue.
  • Videos, if any, should be embedded in the POWER POINT presentations.
  • Your presentation becomes the property of SAIDIP 2018 and the Organizing Secretary will be the custodian.
  • The decision of the Judges and the Organizing Committee shall be final and binding on one and all. Request for review of decisions/scoring etc will not be entertained under any circumstances.
  • Avoid using special fonts that are external to Microsoft Windows, since these might be displayed incorrectly on the session room computers.
  • Legibility Quick check: In slide show mode, your text should be large enough to be easily readable 5 feet (1.5 meters) away from your computer screen.

  • Last date to submit your paper is 20th May Post this no presentation will be accepted.
  • Papers submitted by email will only be considered for presentations.
  • All the paper submitted within given time frame will be accepted by committee for further presentation
  • It is mandatory to mention Oral Presentation in the abstract while submission.

Guidelines for Poster Presentations : –


We strongly recommend that the delegates adhere to the following guidelines while making their presentations.

  • All the posters should be in physical form (hard copy) only (no E poster facility)
  • Physical poster size is 3 x 4 feet or 36 x 46 inches (portrait format).
  • All the presenters are requested to make the posters with Inkjet print on a synthetic paper.
  • The posters will be clustered sub-specialty wise.
  • Each poster will be numbered. The list will be displayed at the poster arena.
  • The poster presenters are requested to mount the poster in the allotted slot by 11 AM on 25th May, 2018.
  • Mounting pins will be provided on the display board.
  • Organizing committee will not be responsible for the posters after 27th May, 2018.
  • The awards for best poster in each subspecialty will be given at the valedictory function on 27th May, 2018

  • Poster submitted by email will only be considered.
  • All the posters submitted within given time frame will be accepted by committee for further presentation.
  • It is mandatory to mention Poster Presentation in the mail/attachment while submission.
  • Please send your Poster presentation in both form i.e hard copy and soft copy.
  • Posters will be displayed all three days from 10 AM onwards.
